LGS Committees

LGS committees provide opportunities for you to use the skills and training of the LGS program, and it's a fun way to give back to LGS. If you are interested in joining any of the LGS Committees listed below, please contact the LGS Office at (315)422-LGS1 (5471). All we ask is that you share your talents with us and hold yourself personally accountable for the success of the committee.

Finance & Investment Committee
Stephen J. Siano, LGS '05, Treasurer/Chair

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepare annual operating budgets

Oversee/monitor financial activities of LGS

Establish an Investment Policy

Oversee Investment Account activity

Development/Fundraising Committee
William Sanford & Miesje Havens, LGS '05, Co-Chairs

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Plan and implement fundraising programs, events and activities to support
LGS programs and operations

Oversee grant writing proposals to support LGS programs and operations

Alumni Committee
Melissa Robinson, LGS '06 & Maria Ucchino, LGS '06, Co-Chairs

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Facilitate communications, networking with and among LGS Alumni
(e.g., newsletter, directory, web page and surveys)

Plan and implement educational programs for LGS alumni

Plan and implement social programs for LGS alumni

Plan and implement alumni contributions campaign and annual fundraising events

Governance/Nominating Committee

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Recruit new Board Members for election

Recommend slate of officers for election

Develop and oversee Board Member orientation

LGS Adult Committee
Charlene Bozzi, LGS '03, and Gregory Rogers, LGS '06, Co-Chairs

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversee class recruitment and selection processes

Monitor program quality and participant feedback

Develop and implement post-program, placement of class members

Marketing & Communications Committee
Kyrsten Bellen, LGS '05 & Renee Duffy, LGS '07 Co-Chairs
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Create a consistent, targeted message to be delivered to various LGS audiences

Oversee all marketing and communication related materials for LGS and Alumni programs (including website, newsletter and brochures)

Create exposure/media opportunities for the organization and its programs
